Every Blizazz begins long before the first stone is set. Beneath the surface is a form that did not exist before: a custom mold and foam base, developed by Blizazz, for Blizazz alone.

The questionWhy the ball had to change.
A traditional ball is made to be played. It holds air, softens, flexes and, in time, deflates. None of that serves a piece made to be kept.
To set every stone and keep it set, Blizazz needed a form that would never change. No such form existed, so we began to build one.

The moldMade from nothing.
There was no existing mold to start from. Ours were designed and refined from the ground up, shaping the true proportions of a soccer ball and a volleyball with the precision a finished surface demands.
Each mold is custom made for Blizazz, and for nothing else.

The foamIn search of the perfect base.
The foam base was developed through round after round of testing. Density, weight, surface and resilience were each adjusted, then measured against the rest.
It had to be light enough to lift in one hand and firm enough to hold its shape.

The surfaceA surface made to hold.
Rhinestones ask a great deal of what lies beneath them. The base is engineered to receive each stone evenly and hold it securely, seam to seam, across the whole ball.
The result is a surface that catches light from every angle and keeps every stone where it was placed.

The formNo air. No deflation.
Because the form is engineered foam rather than air, there is nothing to escape. A Blizazz keeps its shape on a shelf, in a case or in your hands, exactly as it was made.
